Indigenization policy

Indigenization is a strong indicator of Ƶ’s leadership role in regard to Indigenous adult education in British Columbia and beyond. Indigenization broadens the college's capacity to recognize, respect, acknowledge and integrate Indigenous worldviews by:

  • preparing non-Indigenous students, graduates, and employees to better understand and co-exist with Indigenous peoples;
  • demonstrating Ƶ’s capacity for creativity, innovation, and imagination, and
  • enhancing Ƶ’s goal to be a college of life-changing learning.
