What to expect
Theprogram consists of 40courseswhich can be completed in approximately fouryears if taken on a full-time basis. Evening and daytime classes are held predominantly at the Interurban campus and the program can be taken on a part-time basis.
Year 1
In your first year, you’ll work through introductory–level courses in accounting, finance, economics, and marketing. Exit the program now with aBusiness Administration certificateǰ continue on to Year 2.
Year 2
In your second year, you'll take courses in financial accounting, statistics, corporate finance, and business law. Exit the program now with aBusiness Administration diplomaǰ continue on to Year 3.
Year 3
In your third year, you'll continue your studies in financial and management cost accounting and auditing.
Year 4
For your fourth year, you'll be taking courses in accounting theory, income tax, applied professional practicein order to graduate with aBachelor of Business Administration, Accounting major.
Co-operative Education option
Apply your classroom skills in the workplace and bring your workplace skills back to the classroom!When you engage in co-operative education, you get an early start on preparing for your career after graduation! You will have the opportunity to alternate between full-time studies and full-time paid work where you can bring your applied classroom learning to life.
To participate in Co-operative Education, prior to your first work term you will need to successfully complete
- Eight (8) first year courses, with a cumulativeGPAof 3.0 (C+), and

Program participation requirements
- Many first year Business courses require Math as a prerequisite (e.g. “C” in Pre-calculus 11, Foundations of Math 11,MATH 073,MATH 077, MATH 137,ǰ “C+” inMATH 072,MATH 075, or MATH 135). Students may enter this program without Math but please note, students must complete one of the Math courses as listed above or successfully complete Ƶ’s Math assessment in or before their first semester of study.
