Geography

Diverse views of the world

Geographers examine the patterns and processes of human and environmental landscapes. Our discipline is both a science and an art, combining a broad, spatial perspective with knowledge and views from other fields of study.

In the classroom

Many students discover Geography at ��Ƶ by taking one of our introductory courses: GEOG 100 Environment and Sustainability, GEOG 102 Human Geography or GEOG 111 Natural Hazards. Altogether, ��Ƶ offers��20 different courses��that allow you to pursue studies in five different geography categories: human, environmental, regional, physical and applied techniques.
